Selected Projects From In Between Major Launches
Has it really been 4 years? My time at Boundless involved solving complex immigration problems for customers and teammates, and collaborating with stakeholders from the CEO on down. This is some of my favorite smaller product work during those years.
At Boundless, I was lucky enough to lead projects that helped thousands of families and generated millions in revenue, at times being a content designer, UX researcher, and product manager. Over the years the company scaled from 18 to 175 employees, and teams had to think creatively to overcome challenges like restrictive immigration policies, the pandemic, and an acquisition. While startup life and immigration policies are challenging, I can honestly say they’ve made me a stronger designer and a better person.
💡What’s Boundless? Boundless is a startup that lets people apply for immigration benefits online (like fiancé visas, green cards, and naturalization). By pairing lawyers, former consular officers and technology they make it easier to successfully get your visa while being far less expensive than applying on your own or hiring a lawyer.
Cart & Checkout Enhancements
I was the lead designer of the lifetime value (LTV) team, owning improvements to checkout including letting applicants apply with their children, pay their government filing fees, and use monthly payment plans.
Collecting Address and Employment History
Providing 5 years of job and work history is the part of the application that causes the most mistakes, so we invested in exploring new and better ways to guide customers through it.
Launching Fiancé Visas
Building off the success of our newly re-launched Marriage Green Card product, my team utilized the same platform to build the Fiancé Visa product, allowing couples to reunite in the U.S. and get married.
